Watching old movies of Carmen Miranda inspired this series of sculptures of women with bowls of fruit balanced on their heads. The components of the sculpture are blown individually, then ground, sometimes sandblasted, and assembled. This is a smaller version of the Fruit Woman with a smaller basket on her head, which holds one piece of fruit.
