Chicago’s iconic Southport Corridor blooms to life, when Southport Art Fest takes over Waveland and Southport in July of 2021. Featured in TimeOut Chicago as one of the “Best Festivals in Town,” the event will feature an assorted mix of fine art, setting the environment for a picture-perfect Chicago neighborhood street festival.
The two-day festival will showcase some of the city’s best and most diverse artists. Southport Art Fest will put numerous art forms including oil, acrylic, watercolor, jewelry, sculpture, photography, wood, fiber, glass, paper, metal, and mixed media at center stage all weekend long.
Families will have the opportunity to bring their children, and enjoy all that Southport Art Fest has to offer. A special Kid’s area has been designed with interactive games and activities that will make for an unforgettable time.
Southport Art Fest benefits the Southport Neighbors Association, which has represented the residents and businesses of the unique and energetic neighborhood, in the heart of Lakeview since 1988.
