The design for this vessel started as a flat fused glass pattern, which was created by artist Audrey Penny. She started with white glass and black frit, drawing her pattern into the glass.
This fused pattern was then heated up and rolled up hot around a cylinder shape and blown out, turning it from a flat design into a vessel.
This is a one of a kind piece, created in 2016 that can’t be duplicated.
